First day

Well we are ending day 1. We are all starting to feel the effects of the time change and even though the clock says 10 our bodies are still saying 1am.
All systems were go this morning. We met at 4:30 which frankly is pretty early. Not sure who's bright idea that was. You wouldn't believe the line at security at PHL!! Not sure how Danelle, Zac and Becca successfully cut in line though. We arrived in Phoenix to beautiful 80 degree weather, took care of some errands then went to the warehouse of loving through literacy which is the ministry of our host for the next couple of days here in Phoenix. We helped her prepare boxes of books and school supplies to send out to Liberia. We returned to her house for pizza, swimming and a scorpion hunt. After devotions we were ready for bed, or at least I was. More tomorrow. Please keep us in prayer.

  1. Welcome to the land of the sun :). Praying for you and envisioning the beautiful scenery around you, so poetic!
